What this site does

Arbor Fabri is a static philosophy website. It introduces the idea of cultivating a meaningful life and does not currently provide accounts, forms, interactive tree functionality, or other application features.

Optional Google Analytics

If you accept optional analytics, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the website and which pages are viewed. This helps inform whether and how the site should develop.

The site does not track clicks on links used to navigate between sections, because it has no custom interaction tracking. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Enhanced Measurement is disabled. Google Analytics may still collect its own basic technical events required for page measurement. The site sends no names, email addresses, account identifiers, free-text content, or deliberately identifying event values to Google Analytics.

Consent

Google Analytics does not load unless you explicitly accept optional analytics. If you decline, the site remains usable and Google Analytics is not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser for approximately 183 days and can be changed at any time using the Cookie settings control.

The lawful basis for optional analytics processing is consent. The GA4 property-level Ads personalisation setting is enabled, but this site does not use Google Ads and its implementation always sends advertising consent as denied. Advertising cookies and advertising personalisation are not granted by this site.

Information processed after acceptance

Google Analytics may process information such as:

• page views and the page URL
• approximate geographic location
• browser, device, and operating-system information
• analytics identifiers created after consent

Google receives and processes this information. Granular location and device data collection is enabled in this GA4 property. Depending on the applicable service structure, processing may involve Google Ireland Limited and/or Google LLC. Google may process information outside the UK under its applicable contractual and legal safeguards.

Cookies and browser storage

After analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may create first-party analytics cookies, such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie. Google controls their exact expiry, which may be approximately 13 months.

Before analytics is accepted, this site does not create Google Analytics cookies. It uses browser local storage to remember the consent choice:

• arbor-fabri-analytics-consent stores whether analytics was accepted or declined and when the choice was made; it expires after approximately 183 days.

Retention

The GA4 detailed event-data retention setting for this site is 14 months. Standard aggregated reports may retain longer-term trends, while this setting controls detailed event-level data used by features such as Explorations.

Changing your choice

Use Cookie settings on this page or the homepage to accept or decline analytics later. If you withdraw consent, the site denies future analytics storage and attempts to remove visible first-party Google Analytics cookies where technically possible. An already-loaded script is not unloaded from the current page, so this cannot guarantee that every in-flight request stops immediately.
